A hangout, not just a restaurant
Basement Burger Bar was built from the ground up. Two brothers, raised in the restaurant world, turned years of hands-on experience into a vision of their own — and found its home in a beautiful basement inside the 100-year-old historic Cook & Company building in Downtown Farmington. In 2010, the first Basement Burger Bar opened its doors, and the name hasn't changed since.
What started in that basement still runs on one idea: exceptional food, done right. Every burger is yours to build, with multiple proteins, vegan options and over a trillion combinations. The beef is our own custom blend of premium cuts — brisket, chuck and short rib — seasoned to perfection. The falafel and hummus follow family recipes, and the produce is locally sourced and delivered fresh.
Add loaded apps like totchos and frickles, fresh salads and a bar that's always pouring, and you've got a fun, welcoming spot where everyone's a regular by their second visit.
